Parrotfish in the Koh Samui archipelago
Parrotfish inhabit in large groups exclusively tropical seas. Most species live as grazers on coral reefs. Some inhabit seagrass beds and the upper zones of rocky reefs.
With their beak-like teeth they graze the low plant cover on the free limestone surfaces of the coral reefs.
During our dives we can see parrot fish at almost all dive sites around Koh Samui and Koh Tao.
